Federal and SLED strategic advisory, structured as discrete engagements.

Federal Fit Scorecard

A five-business-day assessment of your federal market readiness across seven operational dimensions: federal identity & registration, product-market alignment, contract vehicle access, past performance, capture & BD capability, compliance posture, and team & operations readiness.

What you receive: A written scorecard with dimensional ratings, a prioritized gap analysis, and a 90-day action plan. Plus a delivery debrief call.

Timeline: 5 business days from kickoff.

Best for: Companies with a working product and zero or minimal federal contract revenue, evaluating whether to pursue federal as a real revenue line.

Capture & Capability Strategy

A focused engagement to develop the operational and positioning infrastructure needed to compete for federal contracts: NAICS selection, capability statement development, contract vehicle strategy (GSA Schedule, SEWP, CIO-SP3, agency-specific BPAs), and capture cadence design.

What you receive: A capture plan, a polished capability statement tailored by agency, contract vehicle recommendations with effort estimates, and a 12-month outreach cadence.

Timeline: 3-6 weeks depending on scope.

Best for: Companies that have completed a Federal Fit Scorecard or already know the federal market is right for them, and need the strategic infrastructure to compete

Proposal & Compliance Support

Hands-on support for active federal and/or SLED opportunities: RFP analysis, compliance matrix construction, proposal architecture, written contributions, pricing strategy, and submission readiness review.

What you receive: A submission-ready proposal package, a compliance matrix, and post-submission Q&A support if requested by the contracting officer.

Timeline: Aligned to RFP response window. Typically 2-6 weeks.

Best for: Companies with a specific federal opportunity in front of them and either no proposal team or a team that needs additional firepower for a critical pursuit.

Strategic Retainer

Ongoing advisory support for companies building federal and/or SLED as a sustained revenue line. A monthly engagement covering capture guidance, opportunity evaluation, proposal review, vendor and teaming partner advisory, and quarterly strategic planning.

What you receive: Monthly working sessions, on-call advisory through the month, written outputs as engagements warrant, and quarterly strategic reviews.

Timeline: Ongoing. Three-month minimum commitment.

Best for: Companies pursuing multiple federal and/or SLED opportunities simultaneously or building toward a defined federal revenue target over 12-24 months.

Operational Readiness Assessment

A focused review of the internal operational systems required to deliver federal and/or SLED contracts profitably: project accounting, time and expense tracking, contract lifecycle management, document control, cost allocation, indirect rate structures, and DCAA-style audit readiness. Public Sector contracting fails inside companies more often than it fails inside agencies; this engagement finds the gaps before they become red findings.

What you receive: A written operational assessment across nine back-office dimensions, a remediation roadmap with prioritized actions, and recommended technology and process changes. Plus a 60-minute delivery debrief call.

Timeline: 7-10 business days from kickoff.

Best for: Companies that have won (or are about to win) their first federal and/or SLED contract and need to confirm their internal operations can support the delivery, billing, and audit requirements that come with it.

Technology Stack & Systems Advisory

Implementation-grade guidance on the operational systems that support federal and/or SLED contracting: ERP and CRM configuration, project management and time-tracking systems, document and proposal repositories, expense and invoicing workflows, and integration between revenue, delivery, and back-office tools. Strategy without implementation is a slide deck. This is where the strategy actually gets built.

What you receive: A current-state systems audit, a target-state architecture recommendation, vendor and platform selection guidance, implementation sequencing, and direct configuration support on priority systems (Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Deltek, and similar platforms) where applicable.

Timeline: 4-8 weeks depending on scope and platform footprint.

Best for: Growth-stage companies expanding beyond a handful of federal and/or SLED contracts, where ad-hoc spreadsheets and disconnected tools start producing audit risk and revenue leakage.
